Foil Boarding is taking off at the moment, as a result, St.Kitts Water Sports had to be a part of it. Above all, we are excited to be the first and only company to offer this new incredible sport in St.Kitts.
So what is Foil Boarding?
Foil Boarding comes in many different styles. You can Kite foil, Wake foil, Surf foil, Windsurf foil, and Sup foil. These boards have a 6 – 40-inch mast connecting the board to a wing in the water. This allows the rider to hydrofoil above the surface of the water as if you are flying. There is minimal resistance on the water giving you a smooth and quiet ride. This enables riders to surf the smallest of waves with these boards and gives you a sensation like no other. I have tried most board sports and there is nothing quite like this.
St.Kitts Water Sports Foil Boarding Lessons.
St.Kitts Water Sports use beginner boards that make Foil Boarding easy to learn. Using a small mast and a bigger board makes the board easier to control, as a result, you can progress faster. We have a full range of wings and mast sizes to work with every rider’s skill level and size. Furthermore, we use Jet skis or our boat to pull the rider up onto the board like a water skiing or wakeboarding water start which allows riders to master the foil before using it with kite foiling or SUP foiling and surf foiling in the waves. Above all, safety is our top priority, therefore all riders must wear a life vest and a helmet. Having some experience with other board sports will definitely help you learn faster but is not required. We will offer lessons for Wake Foil, Sup foil and Kite foil.
