Not many people have heard about the little Caribbean Nation of St. Kitts and Nevis, even less are aware of the hidden snorkeling paradise it is. On St. Kitts my favorite spot is the hidden cove of Shitten Bay located on the very southern tip of St. Kitts. The name may not seem appealing at first, but once you come upon the impressive volcanic cliffs into the sheltered cove, you will see what I mean. The cove can only be accessed by water. The views are priceless. The water is so blue and clear, shells and sand dollars can easily be spotted from 30ft above. Even on windier and rougher days you will feel completely protected and sheltered within. St. Kitts Watersports offers two different tour options to explore the lively reefs that are located all around Shitten Bay. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g147375-d3661689-Reviews-St_Kitts_Water_Sports-Basseterre_St_Kitts_St_Kitts_and_Nevis.html
JetSki Snorkel Adventure
The JetSki Snorkel Adventure is a 2 hour tour that combines JetSki adrenaline with Snorkeling serenity. The guided tour leaves from Reggae Beach either at 10am or 12:15pm and takes you around the south tip of St. Kitts into White House Bay. This is where St. Kitts’ very own Mega Yacht Marina is located. After having fun on the calm Caribbean sea, your experienced tour guide will secure the JetSki and get you geared up for Snorkeling. Shitten Bay has beautiful, lively reefs full of color and sea life. Different species of corals, fish and sea fans are plentiful here. https://www.stkittswatersports.com/activities/jet-ski-snorkel-adventure/
Boat Snorkeling Tour
Our Boat Snorkeling Tour debarks from Carambola Beach Club at 10am and will take you on a relaxing 90 minute experience. We will cruise down the Caribbean coastline on board our spacious 31 foot powerboat, passing by some of the most beautiful landscapes in Saint Kitts. After a short cruise we will arrive in the sheltered cove of Shitten Bay. Here you have up to 1 hour to explore different reefs, discover a shipwreck and hopefully swim alongside some turtles and stingrays. After Snorkeling we will get back on the boat and head back to Carambola Beach Club. This popular beach offers chairs, umbrellas, bathroom facilities and restaurants and is a great spot to spend the rest of the day. https://www.stkittswatersports.com/activities/boat-snorkel-tour/

When trying to decide where to go for your next Caribbean snorkel vacation consider booking a trip to this untouched Caribbean paradise of St. Kitts and Nevis. If you are already in St. Kitts and Nevis, book one of our snorkel tours and discover the amazing underwater world our beautiful islands have to offer. The reefs and sea-life in St. Kitts can easily compete with some of the most famous snorkeling and diving spots in the world. St. Kitts and Nevis are exclusive and less well-known than neighboring islands, such as, St. Martin, St. Barths and Antigua. It is an experience not to be missed or forgotten. https://www.stkittstourism.kn/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Kitts
